Boil Water Notice Has Been Lifted For Davie Residents


Hurricane Irma Advisory #27

On September 10, 2017, a Town-wide Utilities Precautionary Boil Water Notice was put into effect for Davie residents due to interruptions caused by Hurricane Irma. If you receive a water bill from the Town of Davie, this notice affected you. 

We are pleased to inform you that the Town of Davie Utilities Department has completed all water system and distribution repairs and has resumed normal operations. In addition, we have completed all mandatory testing to ensure that our water meets or exceeds all applicable standards and is safe for human consumption.

Therefore we are lifting the Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Davie residents in the Davie Utilities Service Area. You may resume normal usage at this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Storm Debris Removal for Public & Private Roadways and Managing Your Storm Debris

In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, the Town of Davie will be removing storm debris from public roadways and will be extending those efforts to private communities and residents who live along private roadways.

If your community is interested in the Town assuming the responsibility for removing the storm debris from your private community, your homeowner’s association (HOA) must execute and submit the right-of-entry and indemnification agreement.

If you do not live in an HOA and you live along a private roadway, each individual property owner must submit an executed agreement.

Each private community and property owner will need to provide access to the Town’s debris hauler.

Completed forms must be submitted by Monday, October 2, 2017 to:

    The Town Council including the Mayor is the legislative body of the Town government. The Councilmembers may propose policies or procedures for consideration by the entire Council. The Town Council’s major objective is to represent and meet the needs of the residents and business owners of the Town of Davie. According to Town Charter, the Town of Davie shall be governed by a council/manager form of government consisting of five (5) members, one of whom shall be the elected at-large Mayor and one of whom shall be the Vice-Mayor.
