Do I need a permit if the tree I am taking down is an invasive exotic species?
No, unless removal of the invasive exotic species leaves the property with less than the required number of trees specified in the Town of Davie Code. In that case, a no-cost permit may be obtained but mitigation may be required. For more information contact the Landscape Division 954-797-1072 or joseph_jimenez@davie-fl.gov.
