Town of Davie Commences Repairs to the George Anderson Pedestrian Bridge

Improvements to the connecting bridge from Orange Drive to Griffin Road 

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie Engineering Services has begun improvements on the George Anderson Orange Drive Pedestrian Bridge located between Orange Drive and Griffin Road, west of southwest 65th Way (see image). 

Bridge improvements include the installation of new rails, concrete deck rehabilitation and widening the bridge structure to add capacity for pedestrian and equestrian users. 

This project is anticipated to be completed by late March 2022. The work will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the town completes the project improvements.
