TOWN OF DAVIE 2022 SOLID WASTE SERVICE GUIDE IS NOW AVAILABLE

Featuring garbage, bulk, commercial and construction and demolition debris information

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie’s 2022 residential solid waste guide outlining the curbside garbage guidelines, geographic service days, bulk collection dates, commercial and construction and demolition information has been mailed to homes. A digital copy of the service guide is also available on the Town’s website at www.davie-fl.gov/wasteandrecycling

Curbside Garbage Collection Schedule

Curbside garbage collection occurs twice per week between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Residential curbside collection depends on whether you live in the designated West, Central or East zone according to the Town’s solid waste maps (see links below).

Mondays and Thursdays

Tuesdays and Fridays

Wednesdays and Saturdays

2022 Bulk Schedule

Residential curbside bulk pickup occurs once per month between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Please refer to the respective West, Central or East maps to determine your zone’s service dates. Residents can also determine their bulk collection days using the “Find Your Bulk Trash Date” feature on the Town’s website.

Condo/Multifamily buildings with dumpsters receive bulk pickup quarterly. The pickup schedule for these individuals is as follows:

  • Feb. 3-5, 2022
  • May 5-7, 2022
  • Aug. 4-6, 2022
  • Nov. 3-5, 2022

For 2022, there will be no solid waste services provided on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. For residents scheduled to receive garbage pickup on these dates, the garbage for the impacted area will be picked on the next regularly scheduled date. Residents impacted by these blackout dates should refer to the respective map for the rescheduled bulk dates.

As a reminder, Davie residents can utilize the Broward County Residential Drop-off Centers for Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), electronics recycling, residential bulk trash and yard waste disposal. While this service is free, residents must bring two proofs of residency. Acceptable forms of identification include a government-issued photo ID AND a document that shows your official Davie address such as a tax bill, TRIM notice, voter registration or utility bill.
