DAVIE INVITES VETERANS TO PARTICIPATE IN VETERANS VOUCHER PROGRAM
Voucher pickup will occur Oct. 25, 2021, through Nov. 5, 2021
DAVIE, Fla. – In honor of military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the Town of Davie will begin distributing restaurant vouchers to eligible Davie veterans as part of its Veterans Voucher Program starting Monday, Oct. 25, 2021.
This program will provide one $25 complimentary meal voucher to 125 eligible veterans to dine at a participating Davie restaurant. Vouchers will have no cash value and the program does not cover alcoholic beverages.
Eligible Davie Veterans interested in participating in the program must appear in person to pick up their vouchers at the Pine Island Multipurpose Center located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL 33328 and provide proof of Davie residency and veteran status. Service members must have an honorable discharge to qualify for a voucher. Voucher distribution will occur from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, through Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, or until supplies last.
Veterans must provide one of the following documents from each category to claim the voucher (two documents total):
Accepted documents:
Davie Residency
- Valid Driver’s License
- Utility Bill
Veteran Identification
- DD214
- NGB-22,
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with Veteran Designation
- Military Retirement Card
- Medical Card from Veterans Affairs
Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, through Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at the participating restaurants listed below:

- Burger Hive - 4607 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33328
