THE TOWN OF DAVIE PARTNERS WITH THE MIAMI DIAPER BANK TO HOST DIAPER DONATION DRIVE
DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie is partnering with the Miami Diaper Bank to collect diapers and other diaper related products beginning Monday, September 13, 2021. Donations will help supply diapers to more than 125,000 babies in South Florida.
Items can be dropped off at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center and the Aquatic and Fitness Center. The Town will only accept items until October 3, 2021.
Town of Davie Drop Off Locations:
Monday-Friday
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Aquatic and Fitness Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday
- Aquatic and Fitness Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Items being accepted (new, unopened):
- Newborn diapers
- Size 1-6 diapers
- Pull Ups 2t-5t
- Baby wipes
The Miami Diaper Bank helps provide diapers and other diaper related products to low-income families and their children in South Florida. The organization was presented a proclamation at the September 8, 2021, Town Council meeting in honor of National Diaper Need Awareness Week taking place September 27 through October 3, 2021. The proclamation week will promote awareness of the rising issue of diaper need across the U.S.
