TOWN OF DAVIE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT PARTNERS WITH LOTUS HOUSE FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES DONATION DRIVE
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie’s Human Resources Department is partnering with the Sundari Foundation, Inc. Lotus House Women’s Shelter to collect educational supplies for women and children experiencing homelessness.
Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Davie Town Hall, 6591 Orange Drive. A donation box is located adjacent to the visitor parking lot near the security checkpoint. The Town will only accept items until August 9, 2021.
Accepted items include:
- New Uniforms (sizes 4T-18)
- Polos (white, hunter green, royal blue, and yellow)
- Pants and shorts (khaki and navy blue)
- School Supplies
- Backpacks
- Notebooks
- Pencil cases
- Pencils
- Lunch Boxes
- Ongoing Supplies
- Standard Pillows
- White twin bed sheets
- White standard towels
This organization dedicates itself to improving the lives of women, youth, and children experiencing homelessness by ensuring that they have the sanctuary, support, education, and resources needed to heal, grow, and blossom.

The Lotus House is requesting that the donations be new, unused items. Please note that the Town of Davie will not be distributing the collected items. For more questions and information about the Lotus House program, visit www.lotushouse.org.
