PUBLIC SAFETY MASTER PLAN SURVEY EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 16, 2021

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie’s Public Safety Master Plan survey has been extended until July 16, 2021, for residents and members of the public to provide community input on the Town’s public safety services. The online survey is specifically designed to address the current and future needs of the Davie Fire Rescue and Police Departments.

The online survey covers a wide array of topics including:

  • Planning Priorities
  • Community Service Priorities
  • Cost Opinions
  • Citizen Stakeholder Input

Participation in this study will help the Town develop a comprehensive evaluation plan that will identify the Town’s needs. The plan will evaluate the Town’s public safety agencies’ response times, placement of future fire rescue or police stations, training, recruitment, and the equipment and resources needed.

Community input is a vital part of the planning process, especially with a growing community. This master plan is an organizational strategy that defines the objectives for Fire Rescue and Police and will also help each respective area define programmatic goals while maintaining the vision of the Town’s Strategic Plan/Priorities.

Individuals interested in taking the survey can visit the public input link. Please note that responses are anonymous and confidential.
