Town of DavieOffices Reopens and Business Damage Assessment Survey and Other Assistance

Town of DavieServices Resumes:
- All Town of
Davie governmental facilities will reopen on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 atnormally scheduled hours. - All Town of
Davie parks will reopen tomorrow, September 13, 2017 except for Oak HillEquestrian Park, Robbins Park, Sunny Lake Bird Sanctuary, and Wolf Lake. - Trash service
resumed today, Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Please note delays may occur due to debris, amount of garbage and state
of roadways i.e. intersections without signals. - Recyclingwill resume Monday, September 18, 2017.
- All Town of
Davie organized sports activities will resume on Monday, September 18, 2017.
FPL Service:
FPL crews arerestoring power safely and as quickly as possible. They estimate restoring
power to essentially all of our customers in Broward County by the end of thiscoming weekend (September 16-17).
Blue and
Green Bus Routes:
The Town ofDavie Green and Blue Bus Routes may have service interruptions. Please contact
954-262-8871 before going to a bus stop.
BrowardCounty Public Schools
All Broward
County Public Schools will remain closed through Friday, September 15, 2017.
FLLAirport/County Transit/Tri-Rail:
- Fort
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport resumed services today, September12, 2017 - BrowardCounty Transit resumed services today, September 12, 2017
- The Florida
of Department of Transportation has advised that all Florida Turnpike plazasare open with fuel limited to vehicles only (no gas cans). - All County
drawbridges are operational. All FDOT drawbridges are operational with theexception of SR 84.

Damage Assessment Survey and Other Assistance:
The GreaterFort Lauderdale Alliance and the Broward County Office of Economic and Small
Business Development would like to share the following information with anybusinesses that may have been impacted by Hurricane Irma.
The Irma
Damage Assessment Survey form is now up and running and available at theFlorida Virtual Business Emergency Operations Center (FLBVEOC) at http://flvbeoc.org/index.php?cid=1410761&action=bda_list.
Small
businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged inaquaculture, and most private, nonprofit organizations of all sizes suffering
substantial economic injury may be eligible for a U.S. Small BusinessAdministration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan of up to $2 million to meet
necessary financial obligations – expenses the business would have paid if thedisaster had not occurred. The online SBA Disaster Loan application can be accessed
at: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.
IF ACTIVATEDby the state, the Alliance will work in cooperation with the Small Business
Development Center to assist in the administration of the Florida SmallBusiness Emergency Bridge Loan Program. Bridge Loans are short-term,
interest-free working capital loans that are intended to "bridge thegap" between the time a major catastrophe hits and when a business has
secured longer term recovery resources. Small Business Administration loans arealso available for larger amounts and longer terms. For more information,
