PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FILING DATES ANNOUNCED FOR DAVIE PINE ISLAND MULTIPURPOSE CENTER

DAVIE, Fla. - Broward County Property Appraiser, Marty Kiar, has announced 2021 homeowner sign-up dates for Homestead, Senior and other property tax exemptions at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center’s Oak Room located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL 33328.
Broward County homeowners who would like to participate may attend from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. at this location on the following dates:
- July 19, 2021
- August 16, 2021
- September 20, 2021
- October 18, 2021
- November 15, 2021
- December 13, 2021
Documents required to file a Homestead Exemption include:
- A current Florida driver’s license or Florida identification card, AND
- A current voter registration card or declaration of domicile
- Non-US citizens must also provide proof of legal residency.
- If you are a new resident of Florida, please provide your Settlement Statement from your prior out-of-state property.
Qualified residents 65 years of age or older as of January 1, 2021, may also apply for the additional Senior Exemption (after January 1, 2021). Seniors must bring a copy of their 2020 Income Tax Return or a copy of their 2020 Social Security 1099 form (if no tax return was filed).
