UPDATE: TOWN OF DAVIE SOLID WASTE TRANSITION GARBAGE CART DISTRIBUTION AND PICKUP SCHEDULE 

DAVIE, Fla., - The Town of Davie is currently working with the new Solid Waste provider, Coastal Waste & Recycling, to pick up the old Waste Management garbage carts and replace them with the new Coastal Waste & Recycling carts. Cart pickup and drop-off will be extended through May 17-22, 2021. 

During the week of May 17-22, 2021, we are asking residents to continue to place the old WM carts out on your regularly scheduled trash pickup days (without trash) for Coastal to pick up. You can use your new garbage cart to dispose of your garbage. If you have not received your new cart or your old WM garbage cart has not been picked up, please contact the Town of Davie at [email protected], 954-797-1045 or 954-797-1035, and we will coordinate with Coastal Waste & Recycling.

For residents who pay for multiple garbage carts annually, your additional carts will continue to be delivered next week, May 17-22, 2021. In the interim, please continue to use the old carts from WM until you get your new carts from Coastal. 

Residential Garbage and Recycling Services - Weekly

As a reminder, effective June 1, 2021, the garbage, recycling, and bulk collection dates will change. Curbside service residences will receive residential garbage and recycling pickup twice per week based on their geographic designation below. The service boundaries and days are as follows:

• West (if you reside west of Flamingo Road) – Mondays and Thursdays
• Central (if you reside from Flamingo Road to Pine Island Road) – Tuesdays and Fridays
• East (if you reside east of Pine Island Road) – Wednesdays and Saturdays.

We are asking for the cooperation of the Homeowners Associations during this transition. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Residential curbside customers will continue to use their existing beige recycling carts.

We continue to ask for everyone’s patience as we work through this transition.
