Town of Davie Closures, Solid Waste Information and Davie Bus

Hurricane Irma Advisory 18
The Town of Davie began recovery services such as the removal of downedtrees and debris from the roadways. The Emergency Operations Center is in
partial activation as the recovery continues.
Solid Waste Information:
- Regular garbage pickup will resume tomorrow, September 12, 2017 per thenormal schedule. Residents who normally would have garbage pickup on Tuesdays,
should put their containers to the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Tuesday,September 12. Please be patient as we resume service. Regular recycling pickup will resume next week.
Waste Management will not perform trash pickup from homes located on
roads that are deemed impassable due to flooding, downed powerlines, or anyother obstructions or conditions. Uncollected trash will be removed on
the next regularly-scheduled collection day.
Town of Davie Closures/Cancellations:
All Town of Davie governmental offices, organized sportsactivities, and parks will remain closed on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. We will
resume regular operations on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
Davie Green and Blue Bus Routes:
The Town of Davie’s Green and Blue Bus provider, TransitConnection, will resume regular bus service tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12,
2017 at 5:50 a.m.
Boil Water Notices:
- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for theDavie Water Utility Service Areas which resulted from interruptions caused by
Hurricane Irma. If you receive a water bill from the Town of Davie, this noticeaffects you. Please see attached map. - Davie residents receiving water service from Broward County
and the City of Hollywood are also under a mandatory boil water order. Thisboil water notice impacts residents who receive a Utility bill from Broward
County or the City of Hollywood. - Due to the impact from Hurricane Irma, the Town of Davie hasexperienced several water main breaks. The Davie Utilities is running low on
water and is asking residents to conserve water for the next few days until wefix the water main breaks. - For tips on how to make your water safe for consumption,
