PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF THE
TOWN OF DAVIE
DAVIE, Fla., - The Town of Davie Utilities Department has issued a precautionary boil water notice for portions of the Town of Davie. The affected properties are identified on the map below and are listed as follows:
- Along Nova Drive, from Davie Road to SW 70th Avenue, and
- Along Davie Road, from SR 84 going South to SW 36th Street, including Parc 3400 Apartments
On Saturday, April 10, 2021, at approximately 8 p.m., a water main break occurred along Nova Dr and caused the referenced affected areas to experience low or no water pressure. The repair is ongoing. As a precaution, the Town of Davie Utilities Department is issuing a precautionary boil water notice effective immediately.
The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until two (2) consecutive days of passing test results are received as per Florida Admirative Code, F.A.C.62-555. Residents are advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
