DEADLINE CHANGE: APPLICATIONS FOR THE COVID-19 RENTAL EVICTION AND FORECLOSURE PREVENTION PROGRAMS NOW DUE BY APRIL 2, 2021

DAVIE, Fla. – Due to a surge in applications, the Town of Davie COVID-19 Rental Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention programs deadline has moved up from April 30, 2021, to April 2, 2021. Please note: no applications will be accepted after April 2, 2021.
The Rental Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention programs are designed to assist Davie residents with a maximum award of up to $13,000 to cover up to six months of payment(s). To qualify for this program, applicants must reside in the Town of Davie and be able to document that they were unable to pay strictly due to temporary loss of income, reduction in hours, or unemployment exclusively as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis or until funds are expended. Assistance will only be provided for rents and mortgages past due as of April 1, 2020, and onward.
How to Apply
Program applications are available on the Town website at www.davie-fl.gov/606/Community-Services. Hard copies of the application can be picked up outside the Town of Davie’s Community Services Division (CSD) office located at 4700 SW 64 Avenue Suite D, Davie, FL 33314.
Completed applications must be submitted by mail or via the locked drop-box located at the CSD at 4700 SW 64 Avenue Suite D, Davie, FL 33314 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications will not be accepted after hours or on weekends.
When dropping-off applications, please adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 guidelines, as well as local and state mandates.
