DAVIE POLICE PROMOTES FIREWORKS SAFETY

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie Police Department has activated a special hotline dedicated to handling firework specific complaints. To report the use of illegal fireworks in Davie, complaints can be made to the fireworks hotline at 954-693-8119 starting December 29, 2020, through January 2, 2021. Please note that this is not a replacement for 911. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

As a reminder, Broward County curfew is also in effect and extends through January 4, 2021. The curfew is in effect from midnight to 5 a.m. daily, except for New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021, the curfew is in force from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m.
