BULK TRASH AND YARD WASTE DROP-OFF EVENT,
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2020
DAVIE, Fla. - Broward County will be holding a residential bulk trash and yard waste collection event this Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Central Residential Drop-off Center located on 5490 Reese Road. The disposal events will also be offered on December 26, 2020, and January 9, 2021.
To participate in the program, Davie residents must bring proof of residency such as a photo ID and a document that shows your official address (tax bill, TRIM notice, voter registration, utility bill, or other official government-issued documents).
Acceptable Items:
- Bulk waste including furniture, appliances, and yard waste.
Unacceptable Items:
- Garbage
- Explosives
- Radioactive waste
- Bodily waste
- Dead animals
- Propane tanks
- Tires
Only two individuals per vehicle will be allowed to unload their bulk and yard waste at the drop-off center. The following vehicles are prohibited:
- Larger than full size (1 ton) pickup
- Truck bed longer than 8'
- Truck bed wider than 6'
- Commercial vehicles
- All modified truck beds
- Open trailers longer than 8'
- Enclosed trailers longer than 8'
Please note that residents will be required to wear a face-covering while unloading bulk and yard waste at the drop-off center. Residents are also required to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and other safety measures which will be communicated through posted signage located throughout the center.
