Broward County Residential Drop-Off Centers to Resume

Bulk Trash and Yard Waste Services For Davie Residents Starting November 14, 2020

Bulk trash and yard waste will be accepted on a modified schedule

DAVIE, Fla. - The Broward County Residential Drop-Off Centers (RDOC) for the disposal of bulk trash and yard waste will resume services on an alternating schedule with modified hours on  November 14, November 28, December 12, and December 26, 2020, and January 9, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Davie residents.

Davie residents must utilize the Central Residential Drop-off Center, 5490 Reese Road, Davie for the disposal of their bulk trash and yard waste. Residents are urged to take note of the following Broward County operational changes prior to utilizing the RDOC:

  • Abbreviated hours every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. until further notice.
  • Residents with bulk trash/yard waste should refer to the Broward County website for their scheduled drop-off day.
  • Residents showing up with bulk/yard waste on a non-scheduled day will be redirected to the North RDOC in Pompano due to the accommodating size and footprint of that site. The North RDOC will be open to all participating municipalities every weekend to all municipalities with immediate needs.
  • Only two individuals per vehicle will be allowed to unload their bulk/yard waste at the RDOC.
  • Residents will be required to wear a face covering while unloading bulk/yard waste at the RDOC.
  • Residents will be required to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and other safety measures which will be communicated through posted signage located throughout the Centers.

This schedule will be in effect until further notice but will be reevaluated and updated in January 2021 by Broward County. For full details, participating municipalities should refer to www.broward.org/waste or call Broward County’s Call Center at 311 for more information.
