TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HORSE TRAIL LOCATED ALONG SW 26 STREET
DAVIE, Fla. – As a part of the ongoing developments at Davie Wetlands Park (formerly Van Kirk), the Town of Davie is temporarily closing the section of the horse trail that is adjacent to SW 26th Street (south side of the property) from July 6 through July 31, 2020. The park is located at the northeast corner of SW 136th Avenue and SW 26th Street.
The closure is to complete the removal of Australian Pine trees and invasive vegetation along the south side of the property along SW 26th Street.
Upon the removal of the vegetation, this area will be regraded and sodded for better drainage. A guardrail will also be installed at the edge of the pavement for added safety.
