TOWN OF DAVIE EMAILS TO AT&T ACCOUNTS REDIRECTED TO SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie is taking this opportunity to notify residents and businesses of an ongoing telecommunication email issue. The issue is only impacting those who are using AT&T.
Emails sent from the Town to AT&T accounts are automatically being redirected to the receiver’s Spam or Junk folders. This is the case for anyone that has a personal or business account with any of the AT&T related email venues such as Yahoo, Bellsouth, etc. This is also impacting anyone that has a hosted company site with any of the AT&T web hosting services.
The Town has confirmed that this is not the case with any of the other major email or website hosting providers such as Google, Microsoft, etc.
If you are currently or in the past week have conducted business with the Town and you are expecting an email, you are encouraged to check your Spam or Junk folder. To help mitigate this issue, if you have received the email in your Spam or Junk folder, please move the email to your Inbox. This has proven to help resolve some of the problems associated with this issue. Please note, this will need to be repeated for any emails received from a new Town email address.
We understand this is an inconvenience, but we ask for your patience as the Town is currently working with AT&T to identify, isolate, and address this issue.
