DAVIE, Fla. – Effective immediately, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the properties located between Orange Drive & SW 25 St, from S Hiatus Rd to SW 100 Ave (S Nob Hill Rd).

On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, around 4:20 p.m., a water main break occurred near Orange Drive and SW 106 Terrace causing the area referenced above to experience low or no water pressure. The repair was completed and the area was flushed. As a precaution, the Town of Davie Utilities, as per Florida Administrative Code, F.A.C.62-555.340(5), is issuing a precautionary boil water notice effective immediately.

Developments affected by this notice include, but are not limited to Davie West, Davie Farmettes, Hiatus Ranchettes, Long Lake Ranches, Mystique Estates, Hiatus Isles, Lawson Isles, Blackhawk Reserve, Camelot Estates, and Long Lake Estates.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until two (2) consecutive days of passing test results are received as per the Florida Administrative Code. Residents are advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
