DRIVE-THRU ANIMAL ENCOUNTER AT BAMFORD SPORTS COMPLEX ON SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2020
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie will be hosting a Drive-Thru Animal Encounter event at the Bamford Sports Complex, 3801 South Pine Island Road, on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
To accommodate over 25 animals and provide safety for both animals and visitors, Bamford Sports Complex will set up large fenced corrals. Animals from all over the world will be at the Animal Encounter, including miniature burros, baby calves, alpacas, and more.
Admission is free and open to the public, but individuals may leave a donation for the animals. Parties interested in attending can arrive at any time between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As car lines and wait time is expected, it is encouraged to arrive early.
The entrance for the drive-thru will be on SW 36th Street and vehicles will exit on SW 92nd Avenue near the Pine Island Aquatic and Fitness Center. See the map below.
Attendees may not bring their pets, may not feed the animals, and are required to remain in their vehicle throughout the event.
All visitors must adhere to the current Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines while participating in the event.
Restrooms and concession facilities at Bamford Sports Complex will not be available.
