ROBBINS PRESERVE PARK CLOSED FROM JUNE 3 THROUGH JUNE 6, 2020
DAVIE, Fla. – Effective Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Robbins Preserve Park located at 4005 Hiatus Road will be closed until Saturday, June 6, 2020. The park will reopen on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
During this time, residents are encouraged to visit other Davie parks. All Town of Davie parks and open spaces are open for passive use. Please note, Pine Island Park/Bamford Sports Complex remains closed for restroom renovations.
Parks and open spaces will be open starting at 9 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m. daily. Park restrooms will not be open. Operational changes still in effect at parks include the suspension of facility rentals, transactions at parks, youth and adult activities, sports programs, and activities at community centers.
The Davie Aquatic and Fitness Center will be open for limited access up to 50% capacity to members only. The pool will be open for lap swim only on a reservation basis. For member reservations, please call 954-327-3926.
Broward County’s restrictions for the parks include requiring visitors to wear face coverings, maintaining at least a six-feet distance from individuals outside of their party, limited active and passive uses by individuals and families, and prohibiting the gathering of groups larger than ten.
