Residents Encouraged To Prepare For Possible Impact of Hurricane Irma
Hurricane Irma Advisory #1
The Town of Davie Emergency Management officials are closely monitoring Hurricane Irma which has the potential to significantly impact South Florida. The National Hurricane Center has forecasted Hurricane Irma to remain a powerful hurricane. Residents should be reminded not to focus on the exact forecast track since strong winds and heavy rainfall extend well away from the center.
Please ensure your emergency plans are in order. Residents should remain vigilant and monitor announcements that call for any protective actions to be taken should Hurricane Irma pose a direct threat.
