TOWN OF DAVIE KICKS OFF BASEBALL SEASON WITH OPENING DAY CELEBRATION AT BAMFORD SPORTS COMPLEX
DAVIE, Fla. – Town of Davie will host an Opening Day Baseball Celebration at Bamford Sports Complex’s, 3801 S. Pine Island Rd., Tiger Field on Saturday, March 14, 2020 to kick off baseball season.
The event will be held from 8:50 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature family-fun activities after the ceremony.
Kicking off at 8:50 a.m. with the National Anthem, Saturday’s event will feature a ceremonial first pitch at Tiger Field, followed by traditional baseball games starting at 9 a.m. The teams are composed of boys and girls ages 3 to 14.
Additional activities will be held after the games at the Pine Island Aquatic and Fitness Center, 3800 SW 92nd Avenue, at 10 a.m. and include a DJ, children activities and food trucks.
Bamford Sports Complex is a 113-acre facility which features various amenities and facilities like that of the aquatic center, fitness center, indoor gym, meeting rooms, picnic areas, shelters, playgrounds, and hiking trails.
