DAVIE, Fla., - Repairs and maintenance of the SW 61st Avenue Bridge connecting Orange Drive and Griffin Road are scheduled to take place from Wednesday, March 11, 2020, to Thursday, March 12, 2020. The work to be performed will require the closure of the SW 61st Avenue Bridge.
The work will be performed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will consist of concrete spalling, steel corrosion, exposed repair, and pipe painting.
Traffic will be detoured to the nearest crossing bridge connection, and drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes other than the SW 61st Avenue Bridge crossing to their destinations, whenever possible. Please expect delays.
