Davie Police Promotes Fireworks Safety
DAVIE, Fla. – This New Year’s Eve, the Davie Police Department will be enforcing the use of illegal fireworks throughout the Town. Please be courteous of neighbors and animals in your area as fireworks could be considered a nuisance.
On New Year’s Eve, we will have a dedicated firework reporting hotline to report any fireworks disturbances in your area. A special fireworks task force will be dedicated to handling firework specific complaints.
This hotline and task force will be available only on New Year’s Eve. This is not a replacement for 911. Please call 911 in the event of an emergency.
