TOWN OF DAVIE SOLID WASTE INFORMATION UPDATE
DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie solid waste services have resumed to its regular schedule. Please note the following information regarding residential waste and recycling, residential bulk and Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling events.
Residential Waste:
- The residential garbage routes that were not collected on Monday, September 2, 2019, will be collected on Thursday, September 5, 2019.
- The residential garbage routes that were not collected on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, will be collected on Friday, September 6, 2019.
Residential Recycling:
- The residential recycling routes that were not collected on Monday, September 2, 2019, will be collected on Monday, September 9, 2019
- The residential recycling routes that were not collected on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, will be collected on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
Residential Bulk:
- Residential bulk will be collected on the next regularly scheduled bulk collection day. Therefore, residents will receive their normal bulk pickup Wednesday, September 4 – Saturday, September 7, 2019. Waste Management will not be retrieving bulk originally scheduled for September 2 – 3, 2019. If your bulk day has passed, please do not put out your bulk waste. Please secure this bulk waste and place it out, when appropriate, for the October pick-up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event:
- The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2019, have been rescheduled to Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Pine Island Park, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL 33328 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- The Prescription Drug Collection and Shred-A-Thon events are cancelled. The next Prescription Drug Collection and Shred-A-Thon events will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
