TOWN OF DAVIE SEEKING INPUT FOR TRAILS MASTER PLAN
DAVIE, Fla.- The Town of Davie is in the process of creating a Townwide Trail System Master Plan. As part of the planning process, the Town has created a trails community input map that allows residents to provide their feedback on the town’s equestrian and recreational trails. The results from the community input map will be used to identify and prioritize projects during the planning process.
The interactive map gives individuals the ability to note improvements of existing trails and intersections, and propose new trails to help the Town close missing links in the current trail system. The map will be available to residents until September 13, 2019.
Trail planning and implementation requires a broad base of support. To provide your trail comments, please visit https://daviefl.altaplanning.cloud/#/to utilize the community input map.
About the Multipurpose Trail Master Plan
The purpose of the Multipurpose Trail Master Plan is to define a system of trails within the Town of Davie that can provide integrated and continuous corridors for non-motorized transportation and recreation throughout the Town in a manner that is sensitive to the needs of various user groups (bicyclist, pedestrian, and equestrian).
