SIDEWALK AND CURB REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR STIRLING ROAD IN DAVIE

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Broward County Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing curb ramp and sidewalk improvements along Stirling Road between Dykes Road and SW 148th Avenue in Davie. The project is scheduled to begin June 3, 2019, and end on or before August 3, 2019, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.
Work will consist of removing and replacing sidewalks, and upgrading curb ramps to current ADA Standards to provide a continuous ADA accessible route.
During construction, eastbound and westbound Stirling Road will be temporarily narrowed to one lane during off-peak hours. Also, the sidewalks within the work area will be temporarily closed and pedestrians will be redirected to the sidewalk on the opposite side of Stirling Road. All driveways will still be accessible.
Project Manager Stanley Bateman can be reached at 954-647-6490 or [email protected], or you can contact Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division at 954-357-6040 with questions.
