Town of Davie’s Hippity Hoppity and Splash and Dash Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 20, 2019
The Town of Davie will host the Hippity Hoppity Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Bamford Sports Complex, 3801 S. Pine Island Road from 9 a.m. to noon. Children ages 0-11 years old will hunt in separate age groups and prizes will be awarded for special eggs found throughout the hunt. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Adults will also have an opportunity to participate this year. An egg hunt for adults will held at the same location at 10:30 a.m. Special prizes and gift cards will be given to those individuals who collect eggs with tickets inside.
This family-friendly event will include free activities such as an animal and petting farm, hayride, train ride, inflatables, kids’ crafts and entertainment.
Additional activities include face painting, arts and crafts, food items and pictures with Peter Cottontail will be available purchase throughout the event.
Coffee will be sold for $3 at 9 a.m. Coffee and adult egg hunt proceeds will go towards the American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraiser.

Splash and Dash Egg Hunt
The Splash and Dash Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Pine Island Aquatics Center located at 3800 S.W. 92nd Avenue, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Gather up a basket full of eggs in the heated pool and enjoy a day of swimming, inner tube polo, water volleyball, face painting and an egg coloring station. The cost to participate in this event is $5 per child. The lifeguard will toss 500 eggs in the pool each half hour.
Each participating child will receive a gift bag of treats.
Age Groups and Times (each group limited to 50 children):
Ages 2 and under 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Kiddie Pool/Ramp)
Ages 6 and under 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Ages 7 to 12 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Note: Children unable to swim the width of the pool must be accompanied by an adult.
