National Summer Learning Day
The Town of Davie has declared Thursday, July 13, 2017 as National Summer Learning Day. The theme for this year’s event is Summer Learning Day is Out of this World.
“This is a great opportunity for us to provide our children with various enrichment activities for them to do throughout their summer breaks,” said Mayor Judy Paul. “I am always looking for innovative ways to improve and add to the existing learning opportunities for our children and to keep our children safe.”
The National Summer Learning Day program is a national advocacy day aimed at elevating the importance of keeping kids learning, safe and healthy every summer, ensuring they return to school in the fall ready to succeed in the year.
