Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. Celebration and Holiday Closings
The Town of Davie’s Annual Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration will
be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Davie Town Hall, 6591 Orange Drive,
Davie, FL 33314 beginning at 1 p.m. The celebration will include light
refreshments, youth entertainment, guest speakers, a poetry contest, and activities
for the children.

Holiday Closings
The Town of Davie
governmental offices will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of
the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Please take note of the
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts facilities hours for this day:
§ The Pine Island Fitness will be open from 5:00
a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
§ The Pine Island Aquatics Center will be open
from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
§ All parks will be open.
§ All sports programs and the Pine Island
Multipurpose Center will be closed for the holiday.
