Information for Private Well Owners In Western Davie
Last week, portions of Davie experienced significant rainfall and flooding. As a result, residents have been requesting information regarding well treatment in those areas that experienced flooding. Since we are in the Hurricane Season, please take note of this information for future rainfall events.
The Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Broward County advises private well owners to take precautions against disease-causing organisms that may make their water unsafe to drink if flood conditions occur:
