The South
Florida Water Management District has activated pumps to relieve floodedroadways throughout Davie. The Town is vigorously monitoring the situation to
ensure that flooded roadways are addressed promptly.
Driversare asked to proceed with caution on all roadways, in particular, the following
areas where multiple roadways have been closed:
Area #1:
North– SW 14th Street
South
– Orange Drive
East– SW 130th Avenue
West
– Shotgun Road/SW 154th Avenue
Area #2:
North – SW 3rd Street
South – SW 8th Street
East – SW 130thAvenue
West – SW 136th
Avenue
Please do not drivethrough a flooded area. If you come upon a flooded road, take another route. We also encourage residents to stay indoors
and avoid walking through floodwater; as little as six inches of moving watercan knock you off your feet.
