The 81st Annual Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo, Friday, February 23 through Sunday, February 25, 2018; Orange Blossom Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24; Rodeos to be held on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.


Orange Blossom James B. Pirtle Memorial Golf Classic

The 6th Annual James B. Pirtle Memorial Golf Classic kicks off the Orange Blossom Festival on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Davie Golf and Country Club, 8201 Nova Drive. The tournament will be a four-player scramble with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The competition is open to players of all skill levels and handicaps. Team prizes and trophies will be awarded. Complete tournament information and entry forms are available online or can be picked up at the Davie Golf and Country Club and at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road. Orange Blossom Kickoff Concert

The Orange Blossom Kickoff Concert will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Old Davie School Historical Museum, 6650 Griffin Road. The concert will feature RemaDee, a local classic rock band, with a live performance beginning at 6 p.m. The concert will also include children’s activities, an adult zone, a bounce house, petting farm, and food trucks.


Orange Blossom Parade

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, the Orange Blossom Parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will proceed down Davie Road between Orange Drive and S.W. 39th Street. This year’s theme is “Rockin’ Through the Years.” The festival grounds will open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, and will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Free activities for both days include live music, youth entertainment, petting farm, Cowboy Town, Wild West shootout re-enactments, and a kid’s play area. You can also visit the Farmers Market and Green Fair, arts and craft vendors, fine art vendors, and food vendors. Admission to the festival is free. Don’t miss the Strawberry Shortcake Festival on both days which will be held at the Davie Woman’s Club, 6551 Orange Drive. Fresh strawberries and homemade shortcake will be available as well as other strawberry creations.


Orange Blossom Rodeo

See an authentic heritage rodeo at its finest in the covered Rodeo Grounds, 4271 Davie Road. The Davie Pro Rodeo will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 25 at 2 p.m. Be amazed as real cowboys from around the world compete for championship titles. The Davie Pro Rodeo was voted as the best rodeo east of the Mississippi and has won numerous awards. Come and watch cowboys and cowgals challenge 2,000-pound bulls, ride bareback, wrestle cattle, barrel race, and team rope. The kids will love it! Cash only at the gate. Advanced and group-rate tickets are available at the Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Office at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, or contact Davie Pro Rodeo at 954-680-3555.


Parking

Festival, parade and rodeo parking will be available behind Davie Town Hall and can only be accessed via Davie Road. Parking on the festival grounds is $5 per vehicle.


Road Closures (see map below)

  • Davie Road will be closed between S.W. 39th Street, south to Orange Drive, on Saturday, February 24 from 9 a.m. to Noon.


Orange Drive will be closed from Davie Road west to S.W. 66th Terrace on Saturday, February 24 at 6 a.m. through Sunday, February 25 at 8 p.m.
