Community Emergency Response Team Training starts February 13, 2018
The Town of Davie’s Fire Rescue Department will be offering free training for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) starting on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 6 p.m. The training is offered to anyone who lives or works in the Town of Davie and is over 18 years old. Classes meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for eight weeks at the Davie Fire Administration Building located at 6901 Orange Drive. Participants must register before the class begins.
The CERT program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
