Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Holiday Closings
The Town of Davie’s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Driftwood Estates Park, 3300 NW 77th Avenue, beginning at 1 p.m. The celebration will include light refreshments, youth entertainment, guest speakers, a poetry contest, and kids’ activities.

Holiday Closings
The Town of Davie governmental offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2018, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Please take note of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts facilities hours for this day:
- The Pine Island Aquatics Center will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
- The Pine Island Fitness Center will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
- All parks will be open.
- All sports programs and the Pine Island Multipurpose Center will be closed for the holiday.
