Town of Davie joins the National League of Cities “My Healthy Hometown” Free Prescription Discount Program
The Town of Davie is joining the National League of Cities (NLC) “My Healthy Hometown” Prescription Discount Program which allows all town residents the opportunity to save money with discounts on everyday prescription medicine costs.
The My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Program is free to all residents of the Town of Davie. By showing a My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Card at a participating retail pharmacy, residents can receive an average of 24%* off the retail price of prescription medicine. There are no annual limits placed on use, no forms to fill out, no waiting periods, no age or income requirements, and no medical condition restrictions. Residents can obtain their free My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Card at Town Hall, 6591 Orange Drive and other locations throughout the town. They can also download a card online at http://www2.caremark.com/nlc/ or obtain one by calling toll-free 1-888-620-1749.
Prescription discounts are good for the whole family and can be applied apply to pet medicines, too. Residents who do not have insurance can show their card to save on the cost of all prescription purchases. Those who do have insurance can show the card when their prescription medicines are not covered by their insurance plan.

The NLC My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Program is a free program for Town residents; there is no fee to join. To get a Free Prescription Discount Card, residents can go to www.caremark.com/nlc to download a free card or they can call toll-free 1-888-620-1749. This program is administered by CVS/caremark® and includes discounts on prescription medications at over 68,000 pharmacies nationwide. Residents simply present the discount card at a participating retail pharmacy along with a prescription(s), and save an average of 24%* on the cost of the prescription drugs. There are no limits on how many times the card can be used. One card can be used for the whole family, including pet prescription medicine.
