Please be advised that the Town of Davie is holding a community meeting scheduled for September 13, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the project on Davie Road (SW 64th Ave) to Florida’s Turnpike. The scope of the project includes upgrading Orange Drive from two lanes to a 3-lane roadway from Davie Road (SW 64th Avenue) to Florida’s Turnpike. Work consists of road widening, reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, landscaping, completing missing sidewalk network links while confirming ADA compliance, curb, and gutter, widening the recreational path for shared use with pedestrians and bicyclists, LED street lighting, signage, and pavement markings.
