TOWN OF DAVIE PARTNERS WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATION TO HOST A BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE
Accepting donations now through August 14, 2023
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie in partnership with Rick and Rita Case Boys and Girls Club, Florence A. De George Unit Boys and Girls Club, and Davie Police Athletic League (PAL) is hosting a Back-to-School Supply Donation Drive now through August 14, 2023. Donations will help children in our community prepare for the upcoming school year.
To participate, please bring an item from the donation list in its original packaging to the following Town of Davie locations.
Town of Davie Drop-off Locations:
Monday - Thursday
- Town Clerk’s Office (Building C): 8800 SW 36th Street | 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Davie Police Department Lobby: 1230 South Nob Hill Road | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Davie Fire Rescue Department Main Lobby: 6901 Orange Drive | 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday
- Davie Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday
- Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note, effective August 3, 2023, items can be dropped off during the Town’s new lobby hours of operation, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

- Composition Books
- Spiral Notebooks (wide and college-ruled)
- Dry Erase Markers
- Index Cards
- #2 Pencils
- Erasers
- Markers
- Crayons
- Pocket Folders (duo-tang style)
- Pens
- Rulers
- Glue Sticks
- Highlighters
- Tissues
Please ensure that all donations are new and unused. Additionally, we ask that you follow the donation items list provided and make no substitutions.
School supply distribution will be completed in partnership with Rick and Rita Case Boys and Girls Club, Florence A. De George Unit Boys and Girls Club, and Davie PAL.
