PUBLIC NOTICE: TOWN OF DAVIE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT TO COMMENCE A WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN JULY 2023

Water main improvements will occur along Southwest 63rd Avenue and Southwest 36th Court

DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie Utilities Department will commence a water main improvement project along Southwest 36th Court between Southwest 63rd Avenue and Southwest 55th Avenue. The next aspect of the project will take place along Southwest 63rd Avenue between Southwest 36th Court and Southwest 37th Street (see map). The project is scheduled to begin in July 2023 and is anticipated to conclude by January 2024. 

Work will be performed by C&W Pipeline, Inc., and will include abandoning the existing 6-inch water main, removing and replacing fire hydrants, and installing a new 8-inch PVC water main. The new water mains will provide better fire protection and service pressure. 

What to Expect: 

• Outdoor Noise – Construction sounds are expected to be produced by operating equipment necessary to install new water mains and service connections.
• Traffic Disruptions – While construction crews are performing work, residents will experience select lane closure. Roads will remain open for traffic flow.
