NEW DATE: COMMUNITY MEETING TO DISCUSS ROADWAY PROJECT
Nova Drive and Pine Ridge Drive Traffic Intersection Improvements
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie’s rescheduled community meeting regarding the Nova Drive and Pine Ridge Drive Traffic Intersection Improvements project will take place on Monday, May 8, 2023. The meeting will take place at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road (Palm Room), Davie, FL 33328, at 6:30 p.m. The previous meeting was postponed due to the recent historic rain event.
The project is anticipated to begin in Fall 2023 and conclude in Spring 2024. The project scope will include roadway intersection realignment, sidewalk crossing improvements, and other traffic enhancements to improve safety along the intersection (see image). Throughout the project’s duration, please expect delays and possible traffic detours.
Town staff and the engineering consultant will make a presentation outlining the project's scope and other important details. Throughout the room, foamboard posters will display the conceptual design for the upcoming project. Town staff and the consultant will remain at the end of the presentation to answer questions.
