DAVIE POLICE CONDUCTS TOWN HALL ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING ON FRIDAY APRIL 7, 2023
Training will only impact Human Resources Operations
DAVIE, Fla. - The Davie Police Department will hold an active shooter training on Friday, April 7, 2023. The training will take place at Davie Town Hall, located at Pine Island Park, 8800 SW 36th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The training will only impact the Human Resources (HR) department modular building (see highlighted area on the map). Personnel from the HR department will be unavailable during the training. Please note, all other Town Hall operations including permitting, utility bill payment/drop-off, records processing and all services and programming provided at the Pine Island Multipurpose Center will continue as normally scheduled.
The active shooter training will consist of indoor/conference room activities and hands-on/outdoor exercises which may result in loud bangs and noises. Please do not be alarmed as this is only a training.
Informational signs will be placed at the park’s entrances to ensure that those using the facility are aware of the ongoing training.
