PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING NOTICE: PINE ISLAND ROAD WIDENING PROJECT FROM GRIFFIN ROAD TO NOVA DRIVE

This project is brought to you by the Penny for Transportation Mobility Advancement Program, known as MAP Broward. The Broward County Highway Construction and Engineering Division will conduct a public information meeting for the proposed improvements to Pine Island Road from Griffin Road to Nova Drive, in the Town of Davie. 

Public Meeting Information:

Date: Oct. 20, 2022

Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Place: Old Davie School Historical Museum, 6650 Griffin Road, Davie FL 33314

The proposed project improvements include reconstructing the existing roadway from four to six lanes, with a shared use path or bike lanes in each direction. Additional improvements include signalization, signing and pavement markings, lighting, bulkhead wall along the canal, and landscaping.

This public information meeting is being held to update attendees on the project status and provide opportunities for public input. County representatives will be available to answer questions.  The public is encouraged to attend this meeting to review the proposed transportation improvements.
