FLL Runways Will Temporarily Close for Routine Maintenance, September 25-29, 2017
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will begin routine maintenance and will require alternating closure of the North and South Runways beginning Monday, September 25, 2017.
Please take note of the closure schedule:
- The North Runway (10L-28R) will close Monday, September 25 through Wednesday, September 27 from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- The South Runway (10R-28L) will close from 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27 at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28. It will also close from 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28 to 6:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29.
Crews will remove rubber deposits and perform other required runway maintenance work.
During these closure periods, all arriving and departing flights will use the remaining open runway.
