TOWN OF DAVIE HOSTS FUN ON THE 4TH EVENT FOR DAVIE RESIDENTS
Municipal Office Closures and Firework Safety
DAVIE, Fla. – The Town of Davie will host the annual Independence Day Fun on the 4th celebration at Pine Island Park (Bamford Sports Complex), located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, on Monday, July 4, 2022, from 6 to 9 p.m.
All activities will take place on the Padre Mariner field located within the park. The event schedule is as follows:
- 5 p.m.: Gates will open for registered Davie residents.
- 6 – 9 p.m.: Enjoy live music by The Yacht Rock Club and Whiskey County along with rides, food trucks and family activities.
- 9 p.m.: Fireworks and music will conclude the celebration.
Residents are encouraged to bring in lawn chairs and blankets. Last entry into the park will be at 8:30 p.m.
Please note that the event is limited to Davie residents only. Pre-registration is required through our online WebTrac program. Current WebTrac users can use their existing login credentials to register now. New WebTrac users must call 954-327-3941 to receive a unique username and password to the online portal. One ticket will be issued per household/vehicle for entry and individual tickets will be emailed prior to the event. Tickets are non-transferable. Walk-ins will not be permitted.
Office Closures
The Town of Davie governmental offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Our offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
Davie Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts facilities hours of operation for the holiday is as follows:
- Pine Island Aquatic and Fitness Center will be closed.
- Betty Booth Roberts Park Pool will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- All Town parks, playgrounds and restrooms will be open from 9 a.m. to sunset.
- There will be no sports activities scheduled for this day.

Firework Safety
The Davie Police Department and Code Compliance Division will be placing fireworks safety signs throughout the community reminding residents to be mindful of neighbors, livestock and pets when using fireworks. To report unlawful fireworks, please call the dedicated hotline at 954-693-8119. The hotline will operate from 7 p.m. on July 2 through 7 a.m. on July 5, 2022. Please note this is not a replacement for 911. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.
