It’s a fact – knowing CPR can save lives! The number of cardiac emergencies and injuries Americans suffer each year alone underscores the importance of CPR training for everyone. Classes are taught by skilled instructors who teach the correct procedures and students are given the opportunity to practice new skills on a realistic mannequin.

Course Details

This comprehensive course includes: 

• Airway obstruction/choking
• How to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies
• How to use an AED on an adult
• Infant/child and adult CPR
• Rescue Breathing
• Stop the Bleed
• Epi Pen Administration

The course fee is $30 for the Town of Davie residents and $35 for non-residents. Payment must be received by Davie Fire Rescue no later than the Wednesday before the scheduled class. Instructors will not accept payment. Cash is not accepted. Each participant will be provided a CPR manikin to use for the duration of the class.
