Volunteer Opportunities and Application

The Town of Davie is a warm, dynamic, close-knit community with a rich heritage and many connections to the past located in the heart of one of the state’s highest growth areas. We are thankful for our volunteers who make an impact in our community.

Volunteer shall mean an individual who, of his or her own volition, has a desire to provide some service to the Town without the expectation or receipt of compensation.

Volunteer Eligibility Requirements:

     • Must be willing and able to submit to a background check (including fingerprinting);

     • Must provide valid, current identification;

     •  Must be willing to have his/her photograph taken for a volunteer ID;

     • Must be willing and able to sign the Volunteer Program Release and Waiver Form.

Applications will be reviewed and selected to match the required skills and qualifications of the volunteer opportunity. 

Candidates selected to become volunteers will be contacted by the HR Volunteer Coordinator and given provided additional information on the next steps of the process. Some of the steps include and are not limited to an interview with the department, background check and level 2 fingerprinting.
