Wolf Lake Park Trail
Wolf Lake Park Trail Points of Interest
The Park is Davie’s first Open Space acquisition purchased in January 1990. It is a 50-acre site consisting of a central lake surrounded by a multipurpose trail. The Trail is almost totally shaded underneath a canopy of tall Australian pine trees.
The lake includes a wading area for horses and has many good fishing spots around it, a great summer destination. There is no swimming allowed, but canoes and non-motorized boats are permitted. There is also a pavilion and small meeting room available for rental.
Wolf Lake can be accessed via SW 76th Avenue or SW 73rd Avenue. Your horse must be “road ready” as access from Liner Park Trail requires some street riding. There is some trailer parking on the site.
