Public Information Office

Responsibilities

The Public Information Office is responsible for the internal and external communications of the Town of Davie. This office is managed by the Public Information Officer. Examples of the projects undertaken by the Public Information Office include:

  • Advertising
  • Coordinating and facilitating various functions and activities
  • Coordinating special administrative projects for the Town Administrator and Town Council
  • Crisis communications, including administering the Code Red System
  • Developing and implementing public affairs programs
  • Intergovernmental affairs
  • Managing Davie TV, a government access TV channel
  • Marketing Campaigns
  • Media relations
  • Promotions
  • Producing video and television material
  • Public speaking
  • Publishing of Town-wide pieces, such as the Davie Update, the Parks and Recreation Guide, and Flood Hazard Information
  • Resident surveys
  • Website management
